The Video I Didn’t Want to Make
In this video, I will reveal the secret of my success. How often do we imagine success as a picture perfect, glorious moment on an island with an umbrella-ed drink in our hand being fanned and fed grapes? That might be a result of success but getting there is a far different story. I, honestly, did NOT want to make this video. I had an ongoing mental battle back and forth, but it lead me to revealing the secret of my success.
Stay in your pajamas. (hmm…can I? Maybe I can film the video IN my pajamas! I bet nobody will notice! I will just keep the camera on my face!)
That won’t work. Just skip today. You’ve worked hard enough this week. Just be proud of that. (hmm…good point. Perhaps I will skip it. Who will really know anyways? Everyone is always telling me to relax..maybe today I should heed that advice. Where’s the remote?)
Exactly. What’s one day? No big deal. You already do a lot anyways and more than most would ever do. (EXACTLY!!! –still searching for remote and wondering what the heck people watch on TV in the mornings–WAIT a minute! One day leads to two days that lead to a week AND SO ON. I didn’t get to where I’ve gotten by doing what others have done. Crap. I almost got lured into listening to the voice of average AGAIN. NOT today. Now geez…go get dressed.)
