Happy Independence Day!
4th of July weekend is upon us! Odds are it’s HOT outside and you have lots of fun activities planned outdoors and you are still frantically trying to figure out some fun, easy 4th of July recipes to wow your guests.
If you know me, then you KNOW cooking ISN’T my thangggggg….so, my prerequisites to any item is that it’s simple, doesn’t have any crazy ingredient I’ve never heard of and healthy (or at least semi-healthy…hey fruit’s healthy, right?!?!).
I do occasionally allow myself a splurge which is why I included the fruit pizza below (umm….sugar cookie crust–YES!).
So, grab your ingredients, whip these up fast and have your guests amazed at your skills. Ha!
Protein Packed Parfait
INGREDIENTS:
Greek Yogurt (plain)
Stevia or honey (to taste)
Berries (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries–your choice)
DIRECTIONS:
Mix the greek yogurt with the stevia or honey to sweeten it just a bit.
You won’t need a lot so taste as you go til you get it just right.
Layer the berries with the yogurt and YOU ARE READY!
