Silence the Voices of the Dream Killers
Dream killers are all around.
Odds are if you are reading this, you have a dream of some kind.
It could be of a better life,
a promotion at work,
a white picket fence,
a Ferrari,
simply having more time to spend with your children,
a Tahitian vacation,
a job that you love,
losing 50 pounds,
feeling valuable,
being the CEO of a Fortune 500 company,
giving back,
a six pack,
becoming a millionaire, you name it.
What I do know is that no matter what your dream, there will be dream killers on the other side just waiting for you. Are you prepared?
Why Can’t They Just Be Happy For Me?
Odds are if you’ve ever chased a big dream before, then you’ve asked yourself this question. Dream killers come in all shapes and sizes. They can be your closest family and friends…you know, the ones you thought would support you the most and have your back no matter what? Yeah. Them. Or your coworkers. They love to take on a side job as dream killers. Any time YOU do more or go for better, you highlight what they AREN’T doing. Let the dream killing commence.
Then there’s always your past. Your past will tell you that you aren’t good enough, that you’re crazy, that you’ve lost your mind, “who do you think you are??”. There’s always your “rationale” too. This is another one of the big dream killers you will face. The voice of logic and “being realistic” whether that voice is coming from those around you or inside your own head, will easily stop you dead in your tracks from chasing your dreams.
How Do We Combat the Dream Killers in Our Lives?
Watch the video above to see how you should handle the dream killers in your life. They do HAVE to be handled. If not, they will seep into your soul and little by little, over time, they will slowly drag you back to the land of average. We weren’t meant to be average. We were meant to be extraordinary! We have dreams to pursue! We have lives to change! Combat the dream killers today. We are in this together!
P.S. Do you have your fair share of dream killers in your life? Comment below with how it feels when you conquer them!!! I would love to hear about it!
