Get P90X-like Results For Women in Chalean Extreme
We’ve all heard of P90X and know its reputation to get you RIPPED in 90 days, but having done this program, I understand that most females aren’t even going to consider a program requiring a pull-up bar or excessive “man” pushups. Enter Chalean Extreme. The beauty of the head trainer, Chalene Johnson, is she KNOWS the female body. It will help you build toned muscles so you can lose up to 60 percent of your body fat in just 3 months. Chalean Extreme is designed to give you visible results in only 30 days. You WILL be lifting weights, BUT you will NOT get bulky! So many times women have the miscon-ception that lifting weights will make you bigger vs smaller. NOT TRUE! The resistance training in Chalean Extreme will allow you to burn calories even while you are resting. Whereas doing cardio only, limits the caloric burn simply to the time you are actually doing the cardio. We want to work smarter not harder, right? When you have more muscle, you’ll burn fat long after your workout. This is the beauty of Chalean Extreme!
Equipment Required?
For Chalean Extreme all you need is a low, med and heavy set of dumbbells. The first time I did this program, I had a set of 5s and 10s and set of leg weights that I would wrap around my wrists when I wanted to go heavier. Ha! I ended up borrowing a set of 20s when it was all said and done! Chalene herself goes up to 25s on the video. Adjustable weights are ideal in a perfect world (I recommend PowerBlocks). The cardio videos also use a thigh toner that comes with your pack, but it is optional.
