COACH SPOTLIGHT: Diamond Coach Nicole Vaccaro too many diets

Have you been on one too many diets? Find out how Diamond Coach Nicole beat the vicious dieting cycle once and for all!

Marriage, Job, Commute, Kids….

“I have always been in pretty good shape. I was what you would call a “gym rat” in my late teens to late twenties. I was never a treadmill, elliptical, stair climber kind of girl (BORING), but loved the energy of a live class. Getting to the gym 4 to 5 times a week was not difficult when I lived at home and didn’t have a family to take care of. When I got married in 2004 at the age of 28, I was in the best shape of my life!

After having 2 children, Luke in 2005 and Jack in 2009, I found it difficult to keep up a workout regime. I gained 45 lbs with each pregnancy and couldn’t get back down to my pre-pregnancy weight of 135 lbs.  With working full time, commuting an hour, and taking care of my family, I couldn’t get to the gym consistently enough to get the results I wanted. The times I did go to the gym, most of the time I had to drag both kids, which was like packing for a mini vacation…..no thank you! And as luck would have it, the class times did not coordinate with my schedule.  I had no energy, no time, and no hope to ever get back into shape!

Too many diets but they worked..temporarily

If I couldn’t work out at the gym, then how was I going to get the weight off? I moved to Plan B…. I went on a DIET, actually MANY diets; TOO MANY DIETS; Weight Watchers, Nutri-System, The Fat Smash Diet….…just to name a few. Did I lose weight on these diets? Sure did! But once I stopped counting points, calories, eating boxed meals, I gained the weight back! At one point I just gave up….I thought, “I am a mom of two kids, so I shouldn’t expect to have the same body I did when I got married, it’s just not realistic!”

Fast forward to September of 2012 I was on Facebook and saw my sister-in-laws’ post about a “challenge group” to lose weight. I got all the details. I would work out at home and drink an all-natural meal replacement shake once a day that would give me energy, help reduce cravings for junk and give my body all the nutrition I needed. I have to admit I was skeptical this could work, but decided to try it anyway….I had nothing to lose! I had been there, done that with too many diets. I wanted something that would last. I chose a fun, kickboxing workout called Turbo Fire! WOW – just a couple weeks in and I was seeing results and feeling fantastic. I lost my too many dietsfirst 9 pounds with the Turbo Fire program and Shakeology! I finally found something I could do consistently and keep up with, and it was FUN!!

I signed up to be a coach in January to get the discount on Shakeology, to hold myself accountable to reach my fitness goals, and to share these amazing products with my friends and family.  Since January I have completed Insanity, Chalene Extreme, and I’m now doing T25. Remember my pre-pregnancy of 135 lbs.? Well, I am currently 127 lbs.! I have lost 19 lbs. total (so close to 20!) and 15 inches off my body. I went from a size 8 to a size 4. I tell everyone it took me less than a year to accomplish with Beachbody what I couldn’t accomplish in 7 years doing other “diets” and going to the gym!

As a coach I have inspired many others to give Beachbody a try, one being my husband who jumped on board in February with Insanity and Shakeology! He has since completed Insanity the Asylum and is now doing T25. He has lost an astounding 38 lbs. and went from a 36” waist to a 31” waist and from a beer belly (really a potato chip belly) to a six pack!  As a coach I have learned invaluable information from my coaching team, Dare to Dream! Instead of worrying about too many diets, I now know how to eat clean and enjoy “cheat foods” in moderation. Even my children eat healthier now!

From too many diets to THIS??too many diets

How is my Beachbody business going? Better than I could have ever imagined or dreamed! I am currently a Diamond Beachbody coach and saving money for family vacations and home improvements. I have won some pretty cool prizes (my Shaun T bobble head is probably my favorite)! I belong to an amazing group who inspire me every day and have made some great friendships. I accomplished this all with a full time job, with a family, and with working out 5-6 days a week. Sharing these amazing products with the world is easy when you have seen the results first hand and see how they can change someone’s life if they commit to it! If you need some motivation to get in shape, if you are tired of your one too many diets and/or if you are interested in helping others get in shape, contact me! I would love to help you achieve your goals!”
