Remembering 9/11 Like It Was Yesterdayremembering 9/11

For the past two months, I have been living in Jersey City, New Jersey. It’s right across the water from the financial district in New York City. Our apartment was on the 27th floor so I was constantly enjoying the view. It was a breathtaking one. I couldn’t help but constantly be reminded of 9/11, though, as I looked over the Manhattan skyline.

What was that day like THERE?

What were the feelings, emotions, fears, terrors?

I CANNOT even fathom it.

Incomprehensible.

We see it all on TV but I imagine that day is uncapturable (is that a word–it should be!).
It’s now 13 years later. 13 years. Still seems like yesterday.

Where Were You?remembering 9/11

Remembering 9/11 always takes me back to where I was in that moment. Often when huge tragedy strikes, where we were when we got the horrific news always stays with us. Does it work that way for you also?

In the video below, I share how i found out and what I think we should be doing today as far as remembering 9/11. I would love to hear your story. Comment below and share. I would love to hear a lot of your stories today as we are remembering 9/11.
Where were YOU?
