Choosing Positive Influencespositive influence

Are you happier when you see your friends coming or going? You know what I’m talking about. We all have that “friend” or even “friends” where we dread the time we spend with them. They don’t leave us better, but worse. When they call, you cringe or even let out a loud UGHHHHHH (and usually hit silent on your phone). This is NOT good. I’m sure you’ve heard by now that you become who you hang around. You will be a combination of your top five friends. Are they a positive influence for you? Think of your top five right now. Is this great news for you? And if you don’t believe this theory, I find it hard to prove otherwise. People are simply contagious. You just have to choose if you are willing to catch what they are spreading.

Debbie Downer Doesn’t Make the Invite Listpositive influence

Have you ever been in a room or a concert or a show or just in a group of people and felt the energy? A positive influence can actually be felt. You will know immediately who they are and what they are about because it radiates from them. THAT is what I want to be around. Debbie Downer…not so much. And if you ARE the Debbie Downer where everything sucks, complaints flow out of your mouth like honey, you are quick to criticize, find something negative about everything and just ruin someone’s day simply by existing (okay..that might be dramatic, but I’m guessing someone just came to mind) DON’T BE THAT PERSON! Don’t do it to the people around you or to yourself! Be a positive influence! P.S. Ready to get fit from the inside out, message me at Jessica@jessicabowsernelson.com.
