Hey guys, it’s Jessica and I just got back from a weekend of training in Tampa and I learned so many things! Today I really wanted to focus on one message that was just so LOUD AND CLEAR and something I knew a lot of you could benefit from, and that is how we can improve upon overcoming procrastination. The focus was on the word:
SOMEDAY.
You know like,
“I’m gonna start my diet someday”, or
“I’m gonna commit to my exercise routine someday”, or whatever that thing is that you’re going to do some day. A lot of people even use that interchangeably with the word MONDAY.
“Oh, Monday I’m going to get back on track!”

I’ll get to it Someday.overcoming procrastination

Well, one of our presenters kind of let us know THAT can actually keep you from succeeding because you’re going to put so much pressure on yourself for that someday or that Monday and then when that day comes and you don’t fulfill your promise to yourself, you’re going to beat yourself up SO MUCH that you actually never do what you thought you were committed to doing. So instead of using the word someday from here on out, you can substitute that for this phrase:
‘I WILL NEVER.’
Think about it. Instead of “Someday I’m gonna quit smoking”, you might as well just say, “I will never quit smoking.” That’s going to take the pressure off you, and that’s honestly what most of you are going to do anyways.

overcoming procrastinationMake today your day!

So instead of someday, use ‘I will never’,
OR instead of either one of those things,
make TODAY the day
and seriously don’t let another moment pass
before you decide to take your goals and your dreams and your desires seriously
and move forward now.
Someday never comes.
Trust me, I know because I’ve tried it before.
Monday never arrives either.
So make TODAY your day.
Make TODAY count, because you are capable of overcoming procrastination!
But don’t put the pressure on yourself. Someday is never going to happen.
