Don’t Be So Hard on Yourself

Hey guys. It’s Jessica. I just finished my hard workout routine and wanted to make you a quick video. Some of you guys might not even know…I work out at home. I have been for over five years now. I work out for 30 minutes a day.
And literally since I started doing this,
I get BETTER results
in LESS time and
I get to eat MORE food!
Ha! So I’m a superfan, obviously. 🙂
But, I just want to remind you…those of you that are working out with me in my challenge groups, or I’ve started you on a program or if you’re just doing a workout on your own, you’ve got to be FORGIVING of YOURSELF.

Push Yourself Harderhard workout routine

You know, these programs are 30 days, 60 days, 90 days and they’re designed to be hard. At the beginning, you aren’t supposed to be able to kill every workout. If you ARE killing every workout, you need to push yourself HARDER.

As most of you know, I was pretty sick last week. I didn’t get all of my workouts in. I let my body rest. But now, getting back in the game…MAN! It’s SO HARD! But I have to be forgiving because I know all I can do is my best. I can’t compare myself to the next guy or to somebody else I see working out or to the people in the video. I can only do my best and I have to be okay with that.  And each day, if I continue to PUSH myself and continue to give MY ALLMY ALL will IMPROVE.

When I was in the filming of Insanity Max: 30, as most of you know, I had the huge honor of getting to be in the program. But LET ME TELL YOU…I made it thru the audition and the very first day of practice, I was ACTUALLY asked to leave the room because I was so just out of shape or incapable of doing the moves..I was dying so they asked me to step out for a minute and get it together. So, just know, even in the video, we were training for weeks and doing two workouts a day to get ourselves conditioned to do the filming.

So, it doesn’t matter where you start.
It doesn’t matter what the guy next to you is doing.
What matters is that you’re doing YOU and that you’re doing your BEST and that you’re forgiving yourself..you’re giving yourself a break.

Because what matters is that you’re ON the journey,hard workout routine
you’re getting healthy,
you’re investing in yourself and
you’re putting your best foot forward.

And if you continue to do that, you will get RESULTS…you will CHANGE YOUR LIFE..and it will never end. There’s not a destination, so to speak, in your health and in your life. It’s about just showing up and taking care of you. I just want to encourage someone today that might be beating themselves up thinking why COULDN’T they do better. It WILL come. Just stick with the process.
